Tutorial #10 - Creation of a magazine cover from scratch.

Tutorial #11 - Straightening a crooked image. Watch only. Nothing needs to be turned in unless you want to get credit for trying it!

Tutorial #12 - Lighting special effects: Bokeh When you finish, send toadteacher@ymail.com

Tutorial #13 - Advanced tutorial: I don't need you to do this tutorial. I would simply like for you to read through this to see how much there is left to learn. It would even take me awhile to get through this one. I only want you to see how much there is left to know. So if you think that you can do parts of this tutorial, it would be great practice. If you read it and get a headache, just understand that it is a pretty standard advanced tutorial and there are many much harder out there. Never think that you have Photoshop under control, because just when you think you do...you discover you don't.

Wrapping up Boot Camp! This is all video content that is from lynda.com. I have made a playlist of intermediate level information that will be helpful to you as you continue to learn what we have left to cover in Photoshop. In a day or so, you will begin to have daily exercises or "projects" from the things that are covered in this list. Here is the link to access the playlist. Watch during class at your own pace!

If you are scheduled for food styling, start at the beginning of class, mentors. Today's mentor is Colin.

  • Rehearsal and polishing your presentation today and Friday during class. We need to do a first read through in the conference room today. I will call you in when it seems appropriate.
  • The presentation date will be determined by how well things are going on Monday run throughs. We will have a run-through for practice, and then we will be ready to present. The presentation will not be on Feb. 28th due to a middle school tour that day. We will postpone it to March 1, but we will do run-throughs on Monday anyway. (Tuesday is tours, and Wednesday we present.)

Practicum: Continue with portfolio prep - the next review will begin right after Spring Break. I should expect to see new work being displayed and some old work displaced...
